Descendants of classic rock and grunge, Irish band SixTooLate endeavour to create a link from the past with huge guitars, bass and drums worthy of being banned in some counties. Fronted by vocals so melodic and powerful that you’re tricked into believing all is ok but delve a little deeper and you realize the world is a very troubled place. Every track comes from the heart, expressing personal experiences many of us can identify with.

Formed during the 90's grunge era the band played many of Irelands iconic rock venues under the name Lazy Male Bees, sharing stages with local and global stars.  Changing the name to SixTooLate in 2011 the band continued to write and record new material.

A lineup change in 2018 introduced D. (ex Primed and Medicine Man) on vocals and Jason (ex Susie Soho & Tony Fitzpatrick) on bass. This reignited the SixTooLate flame and with original members Al, Ciaran and Richie the band got stuck into the massive back catalogue of material while creating a multitude of new songs.

Recorded live at Camelot Studios, Dublin, End of Easy is the first of six tracks that tackled the general mood of the band (and a lot of the country) at the time. Originally due to be recorded in March 2020, Ireland went into a full lockdown due to a global pandemic and the session had to be cancelled. This gave the band the opportunity to work on the tracks and once restrictions were lifted, they hit the studio, traveling from Dublin, Meath and Westmeath for the first time in months.

End of Easy, Gone the King and The Hole were the first three tracks to be completed, the theme of each track ringing true of how a lot of people were feeling at the time.

Plans are in place to return to the studio later in the year to complete the rest of the tracks.
